PROGRAM STRUCTURE -

Cultural Explorations

Our series of carefully-crafted explorations starts in the United States. We then trace the legacies and histories of self-determination, entrepreneurship, connection, and innovation across the African diaspora ending in a 10 day educational program in Ghana.

In doing this work, we hope to connect creators and innovators to one another across generations, countries, and continents.

United States Explorations

BROOKLYN, NY Connecting past legacies to present day resilience and brilliance, we’ll visit cultural sites and businesses owned by innovators of African descent. One of the first places on our list is Weeksville Heritage Society, an institution preserving the history and legacy of the Black utopia of Weeksville founded in the 1800s.
